Apocalyptic Hope ............. POEM

ANTIPAS

"Antipas" means "against all" and its connotation here in Scripture is that this martyr-- who actually lived--- had a name that signified the fact that he was against anything that opposed God and Godliness. He was against political correctness. He was against the whimsical majority, if need be. Who are the whimsical majority ? Those who change with the wind...who stay in vogue with popular opinion, rather than side with the opinion of God. How do we know God's viewpoint ? He expresses it over and over again in His Written Word, the Bible..the Scriptures.

To read about Him is to know Him. To know Him is to love Him.

This is my "Antipas "......

You can take it, sis can take it, Mom and Dad too;
Brothers, cousins, aunts and uncles and all the neighbors too;
VIPs and Popes and Presidents, Bosses, Kings, and thee,
But I will never ever take it  .... I just want to be free !

The 666 Mark is not for me;
I'm Heaven-bound for all eternity.
